DESTINATION IMAGE AND TOURIST RETENTION IN JERUSALEM

Tourism industry plays a vital role in the economic development of country by attracting local and foreign tourists. The turbulent situation Jerusalem occasioned Israeli Palestinian crisis put euphoria mind set tourists visiting country. Thus, this paper aims at examining effects destination image on tourist loyalty Jerusalem, mediated political stability. A quantitative methodology was applied study primary data collected from 384 who had visited Jerusalem. Results structural equation modelling found that has significant relationship with loyalty, but there is negative between Political stability does not act as mediator loyalty. practitioners should focus improving Jerusalem’s to increase influx tourists, revenue sustainability because successful tourism closely related reduction risks results will help Israeli-Palestinian sector undertake more efficient planning, marketing, advertising, enhancing overall management their resources
